Fungsi Bahasa dalam Menciptakan Identitas Budaya: Analisis Wacana dalam Cerita Rakyat Tradisional

This study explores the function of language in the creation of cultural identity through discourse analysis in traditional folklore. By examining several Indonesian folk tales, this research identifies how language functions as a vehicle for transmitting cultural values, norms, and traditions. The analysis reveals that language not only reflects the cultural identity of a community but also plays a key role in shaping and preserving it across generations. The study emphasizes how symbolic language, narrative structures, and linguistic styles in traditional folklore are used to convey moral lessons, cultural beliefs, and social norms. Through this, folklore becomes an important tool for cultural continuity and identity formation.
