Peran Bahasa dalam Pembentukan Karakter dalam Novel Sejarah: Kajian Linguistik Terhadap Dialog dan Narasi

This study examines the role of language in the formation of character in historical novels, with a focus on the dialogue and narrative structures. Using a linguistic approach, this research investigates how language choices in both dialogue and narrative descriptions contribute to the development of characters, particularly in historical contexts. The study shows that linguistic elements such as diction, speech patterns, and syntax serve not only to define the personalities of characters but also to reflect the historical period in which they exist. The findings suggest that language plays a crucial role in depicting social and cultural values, and in shaping how characters respond to the historical events they are part of.
